Tour Description

Barcelona is full of churches of incalculable beauty and architectural value. Would you like to visit one of the most outstanding? At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Pla de la Seu, 7, and start a guided tour of the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia.

Firstly, we'll look at the exterior of Barcelona Cathedral, built under the rule of King James the Just in the 13th century. We'll begin to delve into the history of this monument, discovering some of its most fascinating legends.

Once inside, we'll admire the marvellous Gothic details that stand out in each of its corners. We'll walk through its three naves and see its nine chapels, its stained-glass windows and its vault. Meanwhile, we'll tell you about the historical importance of the temple, as well as the people who have been buried inside it, including Count Ramon Berenguer.

We'll also pay special attention to its marble altar and visit the cloister, one of the most valuable parts of the Cathedral. To make the experience even more complete, we'll lend you virtual reality glasses to discover this place in a different way.

After touring the interior, we'll head to the Cathedral's terraces, from where we'll have panoramic views of Barcelona that will leave you completely in love.

Finally, after an hour and a quarter of sightseeing, we'll say goodbye at the entrance of the Cathedral and the guided tour will come to an end.
